The dollars shop blog (http://dollarsshop.net/) owner sure has an unique idea in blogging. Instead of applying to paid to post site, this blog owner decide to charge $3 for each post that appears on his site. As people want to promote their products on the net, they would have to find some ways to advertise it on the net. So what he do is just to fulfill the demand in the market. I think he will be very successful if he could get a significant amount of traffic to his blog.

Wow! Great blog. It's like having a bank, that when someone post to that blog, deposits $3 on it and that's profit. Good times!

Great concept. I do aree though if he des get a fair amount of traffic it should really take off for him. I am interested to see how he does with it.

Thats a great idea! Anyone can do that. Just create a blog and work on getting it ranked high with google (link to other blogs thru comments, squidoo, hubpages, keyword enriched content, forum sigs) and once you have a pretty decent PR and are getting traffic, people will want to advertise with you!
