Which Host do you use??

I would like to know which host people are using to host their sites and what plans they are on??

What do you think of the hosting company and the plan??

I have a plan with a Company called Wattlegum Web Works based up on the Central Coast in Australia which are quite good. The webiste is http://www.wattlegum.com.au/ . Would recommend if you didnt want free/ok, cheaper shared hosting as hosting isnt cheap.

I have also been using Profusehost for some time for hosting another site and there service is excellent and so is the plan that I was on. I have been using them for over two years. I would recommend them as I great free/paid host to anyone.

I use KwiX Host. kwix.info or kwix-host.com if you want to know. Im on the "Baby Rex" reseller hosting plan, which is 160GB bandwidth, 15GB space, and is $26.50/month. The company is small, but they have a dedicated server, and dedicated staff. They have live support rigged up, along with a forum for support. Free hosting is available too. I believe its "Post 4 Host" which is like you post on the forums for hosting space. Paid hosting doesnt have to post if they dont want to.

Hostsnake was my previous host, but it was very basic, didnt have cPanel, didnt give much in terms of space/bandwidth, and had little to no support to speak of.

Re: Which Host do you use??

I am not with any company hosting as such as I am hosting my forum on a friends server as he offered and its free hosting and so how could I say no to that.

I have used Host Gator though in the past and Cirtex Host and both of them have really good uptime and good support.

I did have a few uptime issues with Cirtex Host a long time ago when they were a noobie to web hosting but after a year or so they have greatly improved and I have not had any issues with them when I use them.

I also use Kwix, except I just have post-for-host. 1.5gb of space with 15gb of bandwidth from memory for 30 forums posts per month. Excellent service! Big Grin

I kept having PayPal issues with Godaddy and so I dont use them for domains any more plus their control panel isnt very good.

I have used Profusehost which offered a similar post for host option which I have used for over 2 years now and just about time for me to change the plan on it!

RE: Which Host do you use??

Dream Host had a lot of problems a while ago and I have seen a few bandwidth problems with 110 but apart from that i'm sure they are very good.
